At age 11½ months Sophia already has 10 (!) teeth - when most kids her age have between 5 - 8 teeth. Sophia seems to have wanted to do a lot of things early (for her age) and this includes growing teeth - and we think more may be on the way. The last couple nights this little girl has been drooling like it is going out of style. We are changing her shirts once an hour due to the excessive fluid dripping off her chin. Our new tooth theory is also aided with the fact that she has been occasionally been seen putting her finger in the upper back part of her mouth, as if to be pointing to the drool source!
YES, THERE IS ALSO SOME ATTITUDE...
In Swedish, we refer to her sometimes as the "little dame" and the occasional diva-type outburst kind of exemplify the nickname. The picture, at left, is her "pissy-look". Since the start of January, Sophia has learned that she can get mad when something doesn't go her way. It is coupled with some scrunched up facial expressions and sometimes a couple tears. As sad as she may look, it needs to be learned that small toddlers can not safely run around the house with a dangerous metal spoon in their hands. It is either having that spoon taken away that prompted the look in this picture or else she no longer wanted the "pappa"razzi photographing her in her party dress. Posted by Picasa
