I'm home today for the afternoon with Sophia. This is the first in a series of tests of my daytime parent abilities while Cecilia preps to take over her new job starting Jan1.
For Sophia's lunch today were pancakes. She had a lot of fun picking away at them and even feeding me some. It was quite cute. There was a chunk of pancake in her hand, she'd take a bite and immediately shove it in my face, offering me the next one.

This past Tuesday, Sophia awoke and saw her toy dog. As if commonplace, she waved and said "hey hey". We think she may be getting this whole language thing...

She breaking two new teeth right now. The lower two are now flanked on either side by little white specs. The right one broke through today.

She is scooting around the room holding on the to furniture. Watching her side-stepping the length of the table reminds me of volleyball practice in junior high school. The only thing missing is a net and those blocking jumps.
Lastly, has also picked up a cute squat while she sits and chews on things.
