Winter has arrived! We have gotten a very mild fall and temperature have rarely dropped below zero through most of October and November... until now. The last couple days have made Cecilia and me a bit neurotic about dressing our daughter.
Today it was -4 celcius and I put three layers of socks and then stuffed her in her sleeper-type bag that is in the baby carriage. What makes us neurotic is that we still find, when we get home, that her little toes and fingers are still vunerable. What happens when it REALLY gets cold. Sophia will be just one giant pink marschmellow.
I have been a home-dad these past three days as Cecilia has been back at work for a series of patient meetings. The days have been a ton of fun, but I am sure glad I am easing my way into this. I am dead tired!
All things considered, it has been a super busy week. Monday and Tuesday I worked 25hours in order to be able to leave work from Wed. - Friday. Couple that with us preparing our guest room for renovations, which we had hired someone to tackle for us these past three days.
I really look forward to being a full-time dad in January, though it is a marathon, not a sprint. These last few days have been hectic though they are hardly what I plan to be the norm once January arrives. Posted by Picasa
